Hello, my name is John. I worked as a solicitor for nearly 30 years.  For most of that time I owned my own law firm in the Scottish Highlands. Approximately 25 years ago, I purchased a 70,000 square meter field. On that field I built a house, which is where I live with my 23 year old son. Our house is in the countryside. We are 4 km from the nearest town (which is called Dingwall), and 25 km from the nearest city (which is called Inverness). So we are in the countryside, but we are not too remote. I have also been a Reiki master for over 20 years. My dream is  to create a healing center, where people can come to relax, eat healthy organic food (which we grow ourselves), learn and receive complementary therapies. I would also like to create a Japanese garden, a rose garden. and a traditional tea house. For 20 years I worked 60-70 hours a week. I decided to employ an apprentice, because I thought it would give me more time to spend with my family. Instead it was more hard work, especially when she left without giving me proper notice. Doing the work of two people I burned out, and had to close my business. I am a positive person, and I look for the good in everything. Closing my law firm seemed like a good time to focus on my dream. Unfortunately the COVID pandemic complicated things. I have an old stone house on my field, and I am repairing it at the moment. I hope that this might be the start of my healing centre. I have started selling herbal supplements and natural medicines on the internet. I have just started, and business is improving. Things seem to be moving in a good direction. It would be a good time to meet someone to share my life and my dreams with. I have chatted with a lot of nice ladies who have debts which prevent them from leaving China. My financial circumstances mean that I could not help them with their debts. If I met the right person, I might be able to help with the cost of a visa application and a flight, but that is about all I could manage at the moment. I am starting a couple of business ventures which will hopefully improve my financial situation, but it is early days at the moment. I think it is important to raise this now, rather than chatting for a month and then finding out that we couldn't possibly meet. It might be nice to chat, though I would now like to focus on finding someone I am able to meet.
