I am retired and live a simple life on a small retirement. I am lucky in that I enjoy simple things in life, such as hiking and bike riding, as well as reading and play my guitar and singing, though I don't claim to be talented! I live in a small, former coal mining town built in the 1940's. Now there's only about 1500 people left in the town, so it is rather remote Still I find it very beautiful place set at the base of the mountains. I'm not sure my life in this small town is something that would interest a woman from China, as most of the profiles I read seem to portray very elegant women. My small income means I could not afford to travel, so I don't think I could hope for a permanent relationship or marriage. Still, it is nice to talk with someone from so far away and hear about a different culture. I spend most my time here renovating an old house that had a fire inside. Appropriately, I call it the 'Fire House' and hope to update the inside to modern standards. Working alone, it is a long process.
