Currently in Southern Arizona...I'm a retired college professor from China. Since 2018, I've been solo traveling in America, from the US to Mexico and then across the US to Canada and then back to the U.S, exploring the mountains, forests, desert and beaches of this amazing land. I am not religious although nature can be regarded as my religion. My next big passion is living a holistic, healthy, and green lifestyle. I enjoy whole foods cooking, natural fabrics sewing, holistic healing, daily hiking in nature, eco-balance/self-reliance living--in one word, living in harmony with nature. Intellectually, I'm quite Western: liberal, progressive, and a bit idealistic. To me, the exchange of ideas with my mate to enrich each other's mind is just as important as physical intimacy. But in personal life, I'm quite traditional and Chinses; I'm generally shy and quiet, not very sociable; but can be passionate and full of enthusiasm in certain context. I'm honest and trusting, and I believe in being faithful and loyal to my mate; of course, I expect the same from my mate as well. I do take this life seriously, even though I prefer a humorous tone with good-natured fun and playful bantering in daily life. My other interests are good books, good quality films, classical music, humor, and arts and crafts. Like all nature-lovers, I sometimes need solitude and fully enjoy it. I've come to terms and have achieved peace with myself so I'd rather be alone than settling for less. But I also believe sharing life with the right man can be a bliss/blessing, if the right one comes along, so we can complement and complete each other, like the yin/yang symbol :)
